A large collection of postcards and assorted ephemera, primarily dating from the mid-to-late 20th century with some earlier 20th-century examples. The collection is predominantly composed of British topographical views, including identified scenes of Fountains Abbey, Manchester Cathedral, and the Mermaid Inn in Rye. The lot also contains a significant portion of royal interest memorabilia, notably cards depicting the Prince and Princess of Wales, Charles and Diana. Other subjects include maritime scenes, such as a sailing vessel with Jameson visible on the sail, floral studies, and various continental views including Ojcow, Poland. The collection comprises both real photographic and printed cards. The lot includes postally used examples featuring contemporary stamps, franking marks, and handwritten correspondence, as well as unused cards. The items are housed in a cardboard box and several loose stacks.
