A pair of glazed earthenware salt and pepper shakers modeled in the form of traditional British police public call boxes, a design synonymous with the TARDIS from the television series Doctor Who. Attributed to Puckator, each shaker is constructed with a rectangular pedestal base, molded paneling, and a lantern-style cap. The items are finished in a deep cobalt blue glaze. Decorative elements include black horizontal bands at the top of each side with white printed text reading POLICE PUBLIC CALL BOX, and white window panes. One shaker is designed with three dispensing holes at the top, while the other features a single hole.
Each stands 4 inches.
