A collection of O gauge model railway components and accessories attributed to Hornby (Meccano Ltd). The items are constructed from lithographed tinplate and steel. The group includes an 0-4-0 tank locomotive body featuring the LMS livery and the running number 45746, along with a matching small tender. Rolling stock consists of three open wagons, two high-sided and one low-sided, all bearing LMS markings in a serif font, and one closed goods van finished in brown with white text markings including 12 T and a serial number beginning with B. The collection also contains two dismantled internal clockwork mechanisms, one featuring a large coiled mainspring and the other showing a gear train with a long metal lever. Additionally, there is a green tinplate platform or bridge section. The items feature lithographed designs and traditional folded tinplate construction.
