An Italian occasional side table in the Sorrento style. The rectangular top is finished with a polished wood veneer and features intricate light-wood marquetry inlays. The decoration consists of a central scalloped medallion with a dense scrolling foliate pattern, mirrored by a matching decorative border. The top is supported by four slender, solid wood cabriole legs. This form is characteristic of mid-century Italian musical tables. No maker’s marks or signatures are visible on the surfaces.
