A mid-20th century Longines gentleman’s dress watch. The timepiece features a circular 10 carat gold filled case with stepped lugs. The silvered dial, now showing significant patina, features applied gold-tone Arabic numerals at the three, six, nine, and twelve o’clock positions, with square hour markers in between. The dial is signed Longines with the winged hourglass logo below the twelve o’clock position and includes a central sweep seconds hand. The case back is stamped 10K GOLD FILLED with a partially illegible maker’s mark. The watch is fitted to a modern brown textured leather replacement strap with a gold-tone pin buckle.
