A silver dress ring featuring a central circular cabochon-cut black onyx. The stone is bezel-set within a raised mount. The shoulders of the ring are decorated with openwork interlaced Celtic knotwork designs that taper into a plain, polished band. The interior of the band is stamped with a 925 mark within an oval punch, indicating sterling silver. No maker’s marks are present.
