A silver sewing thimble featuring decorative wirework, attributed to Mexican manufacture and resembling designs from the Iguala and Taxco regions. The thimble is constructed with a tapered body and a standard dimpled crown designed for needle gripping. The exterior surface is ornamented with applied wirework filigree in scrolling motifs, further accented by small stamped leaf and floral elements. The style reflects an Arts and Crafts influence from the late 19th to early 20th century. No hallmarks or maker’s marks are discernible on the visible surfaces.
