These are set against a decorative, fan-shaped background embellished with floral patterns, foliate scrolls, and a textured cross-hatched ground. The fan features a scalloped border. The piece is constructed from silver with an oxidised finish in the recesses to highlight the ornamental detail. The reverse is stamped with the maker mark KREMENTZ and the metal purity mark STERLING. The brooch is fitted with a horizontal pin and a roll-over safety clasp.
