A patinated brass sculpture of a recumbent greyhound or whippet, executed in a stylised Art Deco manner. The work features smooth, elongated lines and simplified anatomical forms. The animal is modelled wearing a buckled collar and is depicted with its head turned to the side. The sculpture is cast in bronze with a dark brownish-green patina exhibiting localised mottling and surface variations. It is presented as a freestanding figure without an integral or separate base. No signatures, foundry marks, or edition numbers are visible on the exterior surfaces of the piece.
