A 20th-century Modernist bronze sculpture depicting an elongated, stylised female figure in a dynamic pose, holding a slender rod to her lips in the manner of a flute player. The work is executed with a heavily textured, impasto surface and finished with a dark brown-to-black patina. The figure is cast with an integral textured bronze base and is mounted on a rectangular black plinth. There are illegible marks present on the bronze base.
