A late 19th-century Victorian porcelain fairing figurine, attributed to German manufacture. The piece depicts a domestic interior scene featuring a man and woman in a curtained bed, with the woman holding an infant. The figurine is crafted from glazed porcelain with hand-painted enamel decoration in a palette of blue, purple, and orange, further detailed with gilt highlights. The bedcovers are decorated with hand-painted floral motifs. The front of the base features the title Twelve months after marriage. inscribed in black cursive script. No factory marks are visible.
