A commemorative ceramic bell-shaped decanter containing Bell’s Old Scotch Whisky, produced for the Christmas 1998 season. The decanter features a cream-coloured body with a green neck accented by horizontal gold-tone banding. A central gold-tone band is inscribed with the name BELL’S. Below this, the text OLD SCOTCH WHISKY surrounds a central graphic depicting a landscape with a red banner inscribed INGREDIENTS OF QUALITY. The flared base features a gold-tone band inscribed CHRISTMAS 1998. The neck is sealed with a gold-tone cap under a clear plastic seal, which includes a label indicating the contents are AGED 8 YEARS. Based on web consensus for this specific release, the decanter has a capacity of 70cl and the spirit is bottled at 40% ABV.
