A white porcelain commemorative decanter produced by Wade for Bell’s Scotch Whisky to mark the birth of Prince William of Wales. The bell-shaped vessel features a printed heraldic design to the front, depicting a crown flanked by two cherubic figures and blue ribbons. It bears the printed inscription To Commemorate the birth of Prince William of Wales 21st June 1982. The construction includes a broad, heavily gilded base and gold-tone bands around the tapering neck. The top is finished with a gold-coloured seal which appears to be intact, suggesting the contents remain sealed.
