A Bell’s 8 Year Old blended Scotch whisky ceramic decanter, produced to commemorate the 50th birthday of HRH The Prince of Wales on 14th November 1998. The decanter is fashioned in the traditional bell shape with a cobalt blue glaze and gilded decorative elements. The front of the body features a gilded Prince of Wales’s feathers crest, flanked by the years 1948 and 1998, and the date November 14th. Further gilded inscriptions include BELLS OLD SCOTCH WHISKY and HRH THE PRINCE OF WALES’S 50th BIRTHDAY. A gold-toned label at the neck is inscribed AGED 8 YEARS. The decanter is accompanied by its original blue and gold cylindrical presentation tube.
