A commemorative ceramic decanter produced by Bell’s to mark the Golden Wedding Anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip in 1997. The bell-shaped white ceramic vessel features a blue ribbed neck and gold-tone banding. The body displays a central portrait of the royal couple within a blue frame, flanked by the dates 1947 and 1997, and the inscription To Celebrate Fifty Glorious Years. A gold band at the base is inscribed To commemorate the Golden Wedding Anniversary of the Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh. Additional markings include Bell’s Extra Special Old Scotch Whisky, 70 cl e, and 40% vol. A circular emblem near the neck indicates the whisky was matured for eight years in oak. The item is accompanied by its original blue and gold cardboard presentation box.
