A commemorative ceramic decanter produced by Arthur Bell and Sons, issued as the Christmas 2003 release and the third instalment in the Great Scottish Inventors series. The bell-shaped decanter is finished in a cream-coloured glaze with gilded bands and features a central colour portrait of Alexander Fleming, flanked by the dates 1881 and 1955. The vessel contains 70cl of Extra Special blended Scotch whisky, aged 8 years, at 40 percent volume. The item is housed in its original white cardboard presentation box which bears matching biographical and branding text.
