An Edwardian bud vase featuring a slender, tapered clear glass body decorated with vertical green trailing and faint etched floral patterns. The vessel rises from a circular foot to a hallmarked sterling silver collar. The silver rim is stamped with the maker’s mark WB&S for William Base & Sons, the lion passant for sterling silver, the leopard’s head for the London assay office, and a date letter. The style of the glass trailing is characteristic of Stourbridge glass houses of the early 20th century.
Rim diameter: 2.5 cm.
