An assortment of mid-20th-century porcelain items produced by Wade of England. The collection includes a variety of small dishes and ashtrays, featuring transfer-printed illustrations of Charles Dickens characters such as Uriah Heep, vintage motor vehicles including a Ford model, and whimsical architectural scenes. Also included is a small bud vase decorated with a violet floral transfer print and an orange rim; the base of the vase bears the printed mark WADE ENGLAND in red. The lot further contains a Whimsey-on-Why miniature porcelain building, presented with its original card packaging.
