This large-scale commemorative colour lithograph depicts The Diamond Jubilee Procession, June 22nd, 1897, celebrating the reign of Queen Victoria. The composition features a centralised oval portrait of the Queen in profile, wearing a lace veil and royal orders, set within an ornate scrolled border and flanked by floral emblems including roses and thistles. Below the portrait is a detailed panoramic scene of the royal and military procession in front of a grand palace, showing numerous horse-drawn carriages and soldiers in full ceremonial dress. A printed title strip is affixed to the lower right corner. The piece is housed in a dark wood frame with a gold-tone inner slip under glass.
