A stylized glazed ceramic statue of the Madonna and Child, featuring elongated, simplified forms indicative of mid-20th-century design. The Virgin Mary is depicted in a dark blue cloak over a cream-colored robe, cradling the infant Jesus; both figures are accented with golden-toned halos. The piece stands on an integral reddish-brown base with impressed markings that read MAYER’S MARLEE.
