A collection of gold-toned commemorative medals produced to celebrate the England national team victory at the 2003 Rugby World Cup in Sydney. Each circular medal features a relief depiction of a rugby player in action and is inscribed with the text ENGLAND WORLD CHAMPIONS SYDNEY 2003. The medals are suspended from blue fabric ribbons and presented in individual blue velvet-lined cases. The interior silk of each case is gilt-stamped with the LEGENDS OF ENGLISH RUGBY series title and a central C&W logo.
