This collection consists of pieces of vintage tableware, forming components for a 6 Part Set tea service, comprising six teacups and ten saucers. The items are crafted from white porcelain or bone china. Each piece features extensive gold or gilt transfer decoration applied in a dense foliate and medallion pattern. Additional heavy gilding is applied to the rims of the cups and saucers, as well as the cup handles. The style is characteristic of mid-20th-century tea service components. The underside of one saucer features a visible backstamp displaying a crown motif positioned above the script word Imperial and the block text CROWN CHINA.
