A single Biedermeier style miniature chest of drawers, constructed of wood and heavily veneered with highly figured burl wood, presenting a warm amber finish. The cabinet structure holds four drawers stacked vertically, reflecting the clean, functional lines associated with the Biedermeier aesthetic. Each drawer front is fitted with a pair of dark metal drop ring pulls mounted on decorative circular backplates displaying a repeating foliate motif, totaling eight handles. This piece functions as a bedside table or small commode.
