A collection of eleven assorted British military insignia, comprising ten metal cap badges or ornaments and one fabric triangular patch. The metal badges are constructed from various materials including brass, bronze, white metal, and gilt, displaying a range of finishes. The collection includes regimental or corps badges featuring inscriptions such as CHESHIRE, LANCERS, and the motto HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSER. Other notable pieces include a large polished gilt flaming grenade ornament, a black enameled badge featuring the GR monogram, and a white metal and gilt badge displaying the VC monogram beneath a crown. Other visible inscriptions include ROYAL and WE SUSTAIN. The badges display varying designs consistent with British Army regimental insignia.
