A single Art Nouveau style pendant necklace. The large, circular pendant features a bezel-set base stone, likely serpentine or jasper, exhibiting mottled green and black coloration. Centrally mounted on the base is an oval cabochon carved in bas-relief from iridescent mother-of-pearl or abalone shell, depicting the profile of a woman with flowing hair and stylized robes, characteristic of the Art Nouveau period. The pendant is suspended from a trace link chain fitted with a spring-ring clasp. The chain tab is marked 925, indicating Sterling Silver composition.
The circular stone setting measures approximately 1.75 inches (4.5 cm) in diameter.
