Another Great Auction 20th November
This collection comprises 35 individual 35mm colour photographic transparencies, each mounted in a cardboard frame marked “35mm TRANSPARENCY.” The transparencies are organized within clear plastic sleeves, which are housed in a soft plastic folder or album. A prominent insert within the folder identifies the collection as “35 mm COLOUR SLIDES OF KHAJURAHO (INDIA).” The visible images on the slides depict ancient Indian stone carvings and architectural details, many featuring figural and erotic sculptures consistent with the famous temples of Khajuraho. This collection dates to the mid-to-late 20th century.
