Another Great Auction 20th November
This lot comprises a diverse collection of decorative and utilitarian objects. It features a circular brass bowl with an ornate floral-embossed band and a removable grid insert, likely a flower frog. Also included is a smaller, spherical silver-toned metal lidded box adorned with a sunflower or chrysanthemum relief. A black fabric-covered box with a purple velvet interior houses a set of six plain silver-toned metal napkin rings. The collection further includes two sets of serving implements: a large carving fork and a broad-bladed knife with intricate pierced and engraved decoration and cream-colored handles, likely bone or early plastic; alongside a smaller knife and flat-bladed server with yellow-amber-colored handles, presented in a simple cardboard box. Completing the group is a tall, slender metal stand with a weighted painted base, a flat stem, and a curved wire top with a small hook. Materials encompass brass, silver-toned metals, painted and cast metal, steel, and what appears to be bone or early plastics for the handles.
