A Kinaree Thai/Indonesian coconut palm tree table lamp. Crafted to resemble a palm tree, it features a dark-stained wooden base supporting a trunk wrapped in natural rope. The palm fronds and three suspended spherical light shades, designed to resemble coconuts, are made from textured and carved coconut shells, with the ‘coconuts’ perforated to diffuse light. The lamp incorporates visible electrical wiring emerging from its base, suggesting a mid-to-late 20th century or contemporary period. The overall aesthetic is tropical.
