Another Great Auction 20th November
A decorative trivet or stand by Time for Design, comprising a central ceramic tile set within a light-toned wooden frame. The tile features a naturalistic illustration of two blue tits perched on a pine branch with visible pine cones, against a plain white background. The reverse side is covered with a green, yellow, and white plaid fabric, and bears a gold-colored label stating “Time for Design,” a contact number (Tel/Fax 01761 462571), and care instructions in English (“In unlikely event of moisture beneath stand – wipe table after use. Do not immerse stand in water”). Suggesting a modern or mid-to-late 20th-century period.
