Another Great Auction 20th November
A diverse collection of vintage household and media items. The lot includes a cardboard box filled with aged newspapers, featuring advertisements for “Vauxhall” cars and “Rowland Winn” of “Woodhouse Lane, Leeds,” indicative of a mid-20th century period. Within this box is a worn, red cardboard package of “PRICE’S ‘SENTINEL’ NIGHT LIGHTS,” marked “Made in England.” Adjacent to the box is a Roberts R757 3-Band AM-FM radio, presented in a grey and gold-tone finish, complete with visible tuning dials and an antenna. Below these, a stack of records features a “Gracie Fields” LP album, noting song titles such as “I’ll See You Again” and “Young At Heart,” and marked “AS ADVERTISED ON T.V.” The collection also comprises various plain and colored record sleeves, along with a 1980 Polydor 45 RPM single titled “ALL NIGHT LONG.” A black, worn record storage box with a rusty clasp, bearing the name “LESLIE BROWN,” is partially visible.
