Another Great Auction 20th November
A pair of Border Fine Arts naturalistic animal figurines, designed by J.B. Ayres, depicting a field mouse on a pear and a field mouse on an orange. Crafted from resin or a similar composite material, each piece features a detailed mouse; one stands atop a half-eaten green pear, and the other perches within a hollowed-out orange half. Both rest on textured, earth-toned bases. The figurines feature realistic color palettes of greens, browns, and oranges. Visible markings on both bases include ‘JB AYRES’. The base of the orange figurine additionally shows ‘SM’, a partially visible ‘Harmony’ mark, and the copyright date ‘© 83’.
