A vintage peach-toned boned corset, likely dating from the 1940s-1960s, presented new in its original beige cardboard box. The box is marked with red script text reading “Corsets,” “Colchor,” “Gaines,” and “Karolyne.” The garment is a peach-colored or light pink corset or waist cincher, featuring patterned fabric with a floral or scroll motif on the outer panels. These panels contrast with plain woven fabric, possibly satin, and elasticized mesh or ribbed panels. The interior reveals vertical boning channels, and the bottom edge is finished with a velour-like trim. Multiple metal eyelets are present on either side for lacing, and a peach-toned lacing cord is included. An internal tag on the garment displays the number “8710.”
