A Mid-Century 1950s Tretchikoff Era Balinese Goddess Chalkware Lamp, depicting a seated female figure in a style reminiscent of Southeast Asian aesthetics. The figure features an elaborate, multi-tiered headdress and ornate costume. Constructed from a composite material, likely ceramic or plaster, the piece is finished with a combination of glossy and textured paints in a palette of gold, teal, black, red, and flesh tones. The figure holds a golden, perforated bowl-shaped object with a mirrored or reflective insert, characteristic of a lamp design. A white electrical cord is loosely wrapped around the piece.
