The base features a green printed backstamp with a crowned lion over a circular device reading ROYAL DOULTON MADE IN ENGLAND BONE CHINA, above the text Hand made and hand decorated, Royal Doulton, HN 2379, NINETTE, and Modelled by Peggy Davies. The underside is also marked © ROYAL DOULTON TABLEWARE LIMITED 1970 with a hand-painted green mark L 42. The piece is accompanied by a Royal Doulton branded box.
