A Royal Doulton bone china figurine of a woman titled Helen, model number HN 3601. The figure is depicted in a graceful pose, wearing a voluminous deep blue dress with a high-gloss glazed finish and white ruffled detailing to the sleeves and collar. She is shown lifting the hem of her skirt with one hand and holding a cream-coloured basket of yellow flowers in the other. The underside of the base features a printed black lion and crown logo over a circular border containing the words MADE IN ENGLAND ROYAL DOULTON ENGLAND BONE CHINA, surrounded by the text hand made and hand decorated. Below this is printed Royal Doulton ®, HN 3601, HELEN, Modelled by Nada M. Pedley, and © 1993 ROYAL DOULTON. There is a hand-painted decorator’s mark in blue script reading SS. and an additional small black mark. A green and white oval adhesive sticker is present reading ROYAL DOULTON INSPECTED BY S. Ratcliffe. The piece is accompanied by its original dark blue presentation box.
