A Royal Doulton fine bone china figurine titled Summer Rose, modelled by ceramic artist Peggy Davies. The piece depicts a lady in a flowing white formal gown decorated with floral sprays of pink roses and green foliage. She is posed with her hands delicately raised and her hair styled in an elegant updo. The base is printed in green with a Royal Doulton mark comprising a lion and crown logo surrounded by the text MADE IN ENGLAND ROYAL DOULTON BONE CHINA. Below this are the printed inscriptions hand decorated, Royal Doulton ®, HN 3309, SUMMER ROSE, Modelled by Peggy Davies, and © 1990 ROYAL DOULTON. A small dark mark, possibly the letter H, is stamped near the circular venting hole. The lot includes a blue cardboard presentation box with the Royal Doulton logo printed in white.
