A Royal Doulton glazed bone china figurine titled ‘Lindsay’, model number HN 3645, designed by the modeller Nada M. Pedley. The figure depicts a woman in a flowing ball gown, styled with puffed sleeves and a full skirt. The bodice is decorated with pale yellow floral motifs, which continue as garlands draped across the white skirt. Soft blue shading is applied within the deep folds of the dress. The woman has dark brown hair adorned with a floral headpiece and is shown lifting the hem of her skirt with her right hand. The base features a green and black printed backstamp including the Royal Doulton lion and crown logo, ‘Royal Doulton ®’, ‘ENGLAND’, ‘BONE CHINA’, ‘hand decorated’, ‘HN 3645’, ‘LINDSAY’, ‘Modelled by Nada M. Pedley’, and ‘© 1994 ROYAL DOULTON’. There is also a handwritten brown ‘H’ mark. The item is accompanied by a Royal Doulton branded blue cardboard box.
