A bronzed sculpture of a stylized, elongated human figure depicted in the pose of a tightrope walker. The figure is captured in an upright stance, holding a long, horizontal balancing pole. The entire work features a distinctive hammered and dimpled surface texture, finished in a bright golden-toned patina. The sculpture is mounted to an integral, matching rectangular metal plinth. The abstracted form and slender proportions are characteristic of mid-century modern design. The piece is constructed from a heavy weight metal.
