A pair of Mdina? studio glass bowls of organic, winged form. Each vessel is constructed from thick-walled clear glass encasing internal layers of cobalt blue, emerald green, and amber tones in a pattern referred to as ‘Sea and Sand’. The bowls feature a deep, rounded well with the rim pulled upwards into two elegant, symmetrical points, creating a silhouette reminiscent of a basket. The internal decoration is applied in fluid, marbled bands, showing distinct transitions between the turquoise and golden-yellow hues. The pieces are finished with substantial, clear glass bases that have been ground and polished flat.
