The group includes a polychrome character jug depicting a Punch and Judy man, wearing a black bicorne hat and burgundy coat over yellow trousers, whilst holding a Judy puppet and a decorative floral sign. A second item comprises a seated Toby jug finished in a dark brown treacle glaze, portrayed in 18th-century attire with a tricorn hat and holding a foaming mug of ale. The collection is completed by a smaller polychrome character jug of a female figure, shown wearing a white mob cap with blue trim and a dark blue shawl over a white dress with red accents.
